Ripple Labs is ready to commit an extra $5 million to assist fund educational analysis and foster blockchain expertise within the Asia-Pacific area.
In a weblog publish on Tuesday, Ripple Labs stated it will likely be committing the extra funding through its College Blockchain Analysis Initiative (UBRI), which is able to fund universities throughout six nations, with new grants being allotted to universities in Taiwan and Australia.
UBRI has dedicated $1.1 million to Yonsei College in South Korea over a six-year partnership. In Japan, UBRI has dedicated $1.5 million to Kyoto College and the College of Tokyo. In Singapore, the whole funding has crossed $3 million throughout Nanyang Technological College and the Nationwide College of Singapore.
Professor Yang Liu of the School of Computing and Information Science at Nanyang Technological College, which is growing an AI agent on the XRP Ledger, stated the grants have enhanced its analysis and improvement efforts.

In Taiwan, UBRI is partnering with the Nationwide Kaohsiung College of Science and Know-how to discover real-world asset (RWA) tokenization.
